Seattle has launched an emergency preparedness initiative

On Monday, June 13th, the Seattle City Council held the first in a series of briefings on emergency preparedness. Here’s the press release about the initiative, which includes a calendar of all milestones – briefing dates, presenters & topics. (FYI, we’ve added them to our Events Calendar page…)

Here’s a link to video of the first briefing by Barb Graff, Director of the Office of Emergency Management. The segment on the emergency preparedness initiative is introduced at 74 minutes into the Council session; it runs approximately 20 minutes in length.
