Firefighter heavy rescue training today

West Seattle Be Prepared was excited to be invited to watch Heavy Rescue training today at their Joint Training Facility. Deborah Greer and Dave Brown attended on behalf of WSBP.

The exercise simulated a post-terrorist attack building/bridge/parking garage collapse.  There were about 20 scenarios lined up one after another in “lanes”.  It emphasized just how labor and equipment heavy a rubble pile search is.
