As we noted earlier, the 2013 fall Hub Summit will be Saturday October 19th!
We have exciting news that the keynote speaker will be Sandi Doughton, Seattle Times reporter and the author of Full-Rip 9.0: The Next Big Earthquake in the Pacific Northwest. An excerpt was recently published here in Pacific Magazine.
The focus of this Summit is Peer to Peer Preparedness. This event provides a framework for discussion between hub volunteers; members of Block Watch, SNAP, and CERT groups; and others who are working on or interested in emergency preparedness.
You’ll have an opportunity to meet others from West Seattle as well as people from other Seattle Neighborhoods. As well, you’ll have a firsthand look at the Seattle Office of Emergency Management’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC).

And, here’s the printable .pdf version of the Hub Fall Summit Flyer. Hope to see you there!
