Wondering how Seattle fared with “No Power, No Bars?”

Thanks to those of you who showed up today to participate in, or watch, our field exercises this morning! We activated three of our West Seattle emergency communication hubs as part of this citywide communication exercise.

While this exercise took place over three hours and provided opportunities for hands-on learning and experience, the pre-planning efforts and the debrief afterward may prove to be the most insightful as to what may help us successfully weather a similar real emergency in our community.

We may share more about those findings later….meanwhile, here are some scenes from our exercise in High Point today — including some photos and comments that I shared with the West Seattle Blog.

Updating Sunday, 4/29/18 to include some photos taken by Ian Gallagher. Ian and Journét Wallace are Hub Co-Captains for our EC Hughes hub location. They participated in the exercise that took place at our Fauntleroy hub.
