Welcome to our ‘blog! We are West Seattle Be Prepared; a community-based, all-volunteer, disaster preparedness effort in Seattle, Washington. Our group includes representatives and community leaders from many of the West Seattle neighborhoods.
Our group has established 13 Emergency Communication Hubs throughout West Seattle. As well, our focus is to provide information, identify resources and needs, and to promote communication regarding emergency preparedness.
We work closely with the Seattle Office of Emergency Management and other Seattle neighborhoods on our preparedness efforts. Seattle now has over 50 hubs.
