See us at the Delridge Projects Workshop and Resource Fair tomorrow!

We wanted to let you know that we’ll have a booth at the Delridge Projects Workshop and Community Resource Fair.

It’s tomorrow, Saturday, October 8, 2016, 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM, at the Southwest Teen Life Center (2801 SW Thistle Street). Stop by if you have a chance!

Following is some more information about the overall event that we received from the organizers, Seattle Department of Neighborhoods and and the Office of Planning & Community Development.

First of all we will be unveiling the final North Delridge Action Plan.  This is the final public workshop for the North Delridge Action Plan. It is the result input from hundreds of your neighbors who helped identify the community’s vision for North Delridge, and prioritize steps that you, organizations and the City can take to make Delridge a healthy and livable neighborhood  Second, it’s time to get back to work on the Delridge Multimodal Corridor Transportation Project planning.  Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) will be looking for input on options for transforming Delridge Way SW into a safer and healthier space with interconnected movement of people and goods.  We are also hoping to hear the latest on the Longfellow Creek Basin Natural Drainage Project Learning and how we can improve drainage for a healthy Longfellow Creek and Puget Sound

Like most community development projects, these two initiatives are part of a bigger network of amazing work and accomplishments that are taking place in the neighborhood.  That includes the work you and your organization have accomplished.  We would like to invite you to showcase your work by joining us on October 8th as part of a Community Resource Fair.  We feel that the more we can bring attention to what’s happening in the community, the more ideas, dreams, and vision will be generated.
