We received an updated schedule this week from the Seattle Office of Emergency Management of their free SNAP Shot workshops and Earthquake Home Retrofit classes. Two are in West Seattle:
9/21, 1:30 to 2 PM, Pet Preparedness workshop at the SW Library.
10/4, 11 AM to 1 PM, Earthquake Home Retrofit at the WS Library.

Seattle Office of Emergency & Management schedule of free classes workshops
The Seattle Office of Emergency Management also recently announced a series of emergency preparedness trainings at 9 different P-Patch community gardens in Southeast Seattle. These P-Patches serve as community hubs; more details about the training sessions is attached here, Release OEM_P_Patch Trainings 2014_2.
Note that the Seattle Office of Emergency Management has not yet published their schedule of CERT classes and Skills Training (Disaster First Aid, Light Search and Rescue). You can visit their site to check for updates to their event calendar and additional information.
