Is West Seattle Prepared? Watch video and see coverage from our two fall preparedness sessions!

We hope you had an opportunity to attend one of our “Is West Seattle Prepared?” sessions last fall. If you missed them or would like to see the presentations again, we’ve included them below.

We begin with the keynote presentations from each session. The two sets of speakers approach the topic in different ways (science and policy) to provide an in-depth picture of why and how we might prepare.

Part 1: Video of Sandi Doughton’s and Dave Nichols’ keynote sessions at Hiawatha Community Center on November 3rd, 2018.

Part 2: Video of Ken Neafcy’s and Harold Tobin’s keynote sessions at High Point Community Center on October 7th, 2018.

Part 3: Video of presentations by City responders: Lt. Paul Andrews, SFD;  Lt. Jim Britt, SPD; Melanie Cole, Seattle Emergency Management; and Carina Elsenboss, Public Health).

Below, we’ve included the West Seattle Blog’s coverage of these West Seattle Be Prepared events:
